Summary
Subscriptions are sold only in the mobile apps, so refunds follow the Google Play and Apple App Store refund processes. The website does not sell subscriptions. If you have a problem the store cannot solve, email us and we will help. You can cancel your subscription anytime to stop future charges.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all subscriptions purchased from Bacolod Information Technology Solutions (operating as Pinoy Reviewer Hub).
1. Website
The website at pinoyreviewerhub.com does not sell subscriptions. A subscription bought in the Android or iPhone app unlocks the same Premium features on the web, and its refunds are handled as described in Section 2. If we start selling subscriptions on the website, we will add its refund terms here before the first sale.
2. Mobile subscriptions (Google Play / App Store)
For subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS), refunds are handled directly by the respective platform, not by Pinoy Reviewer Hub.
Google Play (Android).
- Refund requests submitted within 48 hours of purchase are usually approved automatically.
- To request a refund, visit play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory and click “Request a refund” next to the purchase.
- For requests beyond 48 hours, Google evaluates them on a case-by-case basis using their own policies.
Apple App Store (iOS).
- Submit a refund request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Apple decides each refund based on their own policies. Final authority on App Store refunds rests with Apple.
If your platform refund is denied. If you believe you have a legitimate case and Google or Apple has denied your refund, contact us at pinoyreviewerhub@gmail.com. While we cannot override the platform’s decision, we can sometimes assist by providing supporting documentation or offering alternative resolution (e.g., subscription credit).
3. Refund exclusions
Refunds may be denied in the following cases:
- Requests submitted after the applicable refund window with no legitimate basis
- Evidence of refund policy abuse (e.g., repeated subscribe-then-refund patterns)
- Violations of our Terms of Service, including account sharing or scraping
- Termination of your account by us for cause (fraud, abuse, or violation of Terms)
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase
4. How to cancel your subscription
Cancelling your subscription is separate from requesting a refund. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.
Website: there is nothing to cancel on the web. Manage your subscription in the store you bought it from, below.
Android (Google Play):
- Open the Google Play app → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pinoy Reviewer Hub → Cancel subscription
iOS (App Store):
- Settings → Your name → Subscriptions → Pinoy Reviewer Hub → Cancel Subscription
After cancellation, you retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made, and your subscription will not auto-renew.
5. Consumer rights
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Philippine Consumer Act of 1992 (Republic Act No. 7394) or other applicable consumer protection laws. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply only to subscriptions purchased after the effective date.
